9 THINGS TO DO WITH TWO NIGHTS AT ANANTARA DHIGU
The second resort we visited in the Maldives was Anantara Dhigu for two nights. It only took us 30 minutes by boat to get there. It was complete paradise but how much can you really experience with only 2 nights?
Here are 9 things we were able to experience...
We were able to UNWIND. This place is utter paradise and the perfect place to just relax. Beautiful and calm waters and pretty quiet.
Breakfast in bed… on the balcony. We got the most beautifully plated breakfast and did a breakfast shoot with it. We got waffles and crepes and they were SOOO yummy!!
Took a 2 minute boat ride to the snorkel island where the famous swings are. Although these swings have been seen so many times on social media they are so much cooler in person. Swing in the middle of the ocean…unreal!
Mike tried the jet-pack. He had such a blast and what an experience. I got some drone footage of him using it in the video at the end of this post.
We had a lagoon lunch one day where we sat at a table in the water. Never done this before but I could definitely do it again.
Take in 2 burning sky sunsets. The sunsets in the Maldives are in my top 3 choices of the best sunsets I’ve ever seen. On a really good night the sky burns in reds, oranges, pinks and purples.
Date night at Terazzo. We sat on the terrace with the sound of the ocean and the wind. It was the perfect time to put our phones away and enjoy each others company. Ps. I had the best burrata dish (my favourite!!)
Took a little boat ride to Anantara Veli, just across the way. We ate at a Thai restaurant called Baan Huraa. Delicious and the cocktails were incredible!
Slept in! The bed was so comfortable it was hard to get out of it.
Well there you have it! Nine things we loved about our stay at Anantara Dhigu and we would absolutely go back for more. The price per night can fluctuate depending on high or low season and what kind of room you are looking to book. Prices are pretty affordable starting at $462USD a night. Especially if you are splurging for your honeymoon or special occasion it’s more affordable than people might think.
